Kennet District Council is continuing to out-perform everyone else in Wiltshire by being the only authority to recycle over 40% in 2007/08.

Over the last five years, recycling rates in the district have soared from 11.48% to over 40% as improvements to services have been delivered by the Council's highly trained in-house workforce.

This is an excellent achievement and residents should be justifiably proud of diverting all this valuable material from landfill.
