In Kennet's car parks, disabled drivers may park free for 3 hours only, (the full rate must then be paid). A valid 'disabled badge' must be displayed with the time clock set to the time of arrival. If you know you are going to exceed 3 hours, set your time disc and put a pay and display ticket for the extra hours next to the badge.

You must park within a marked bay.

Long stay disabled drivers should try not to use disabled bays, these will then remain available for a greater number of short stay disabled drivers to use

On Street - High Street

  • 12 disabled bays throughout the street ,

  • Restricted to 3 hours maximum stay.

  • Located near cross walks in Central Area and on the sides at each end of the street.

  • The street slopes quite steeply, take care with wheel chairs.

  • Market held Wednesday and Saturday, in the central area of the street at the town hall end.
